The Weekend Before the Superbowl...

…is a sad foretaste of what is to come: weekends without any football.  And while I’m definitely a fan of college basketball, it takes me a while to ramp up into it.  At least today my Heels are starting to look like a basketball team again.

I was wondering how you were faring, especially today. Hang in there. Have your Sunday afternoon Coke. It'll be ok...

Alas, Alex, I do not feel your pain, asI am so glad that football is almost over so that there are at least a NCAA b-ball game or two on TV on Saturday and Sunday (even if it's just Clemson vs the Wolfpack). But I know that in just a few weeks, One Shining Moment will play at the end of the title game, and I will be able to commiserat with you much better (but at least I have NASCAR to get me through the long summer).

marsh, I totally was thinking of you when I was writing the comment about college basketball. although honestly, nascar isn't much more than noise pollution and (what's worse) baseball is a good bowl of popocorn spoiled.

Have you ever been to a race? I don't think so. Dude, try and get INTO my world before you hate. I'm just a wanna be good ol' boy in the hood.
