What I Write About

I write about the infinite number of intersections between every day life and the good news of the God who has come to get us.

What He Will, What He Won't, What it Means

What Davis will eat: blueberries, strawberries, grapes, bananas, apples, fresh cucumbers, green peppers, red peppers, Goldfish, rice cakes, raisins

What Davis won't eat: just about anything else

What this means: we're the only parents in America who can frequently be heard saying: "No more fruits or vegetables until you eat more of your pizza/chicken nuggets/hot dog!"

Who were you busy training when this amazing young lad entered the world? You have to admit it, Davis is now a vegetarian.

Aidan's list:
WILL EAT: dried strawberries, dried corn, dried raspberries, normal or dry apples, bananas (sometimes), cheerios, LUNA bars (a health bar designed for women), grapes, Malt-O-Meal, and sometimes blueberry muffins

(and I have no idea why he won't eat normal berries instead of dried...)

WILL RARELY EAT: grilled cheese, rice mixed with refried beans, peanut butter and jelly (if I mix them before putting them on the bread, then cut off the crusts and tear up the sandwich into very small pieces), cheese pizza
WON'T EAT: everything else

MEANS: I am often saying "no more ____berries (or fruits) until you have one more bite of rice and beans (or grilled cheese, or pbj sandwich). It also means that almost all of his poopie diapers are about as solid as yogurt and extremely messy. I have even bought acidopholus that you can add to milk or other drinks so that he will have some more good bacteria in his system helping to digest things and firm them up a bit.

SO, I am feelin' yo' pain, brother!
